  For that this time I want to share the how to make the statusbar be transparent. So as not to disturb the wallpaper we be truncated. And android we will look more cool. Directly to the tutorial I will share this.

Ingredients :
1. Apktool [Download]
2. 920 Text Editor [Download]
3. SystemUI.apk

Step by Step :

1.Decompile SystemUI.apk

2.Find res/drawable-hdpi/statusbar_background.9.png.

3.Erase everything in that statusbar_background.9.png, everything except borders as it 9.png using GIMP or Photoshop or similar image editor.

4.Find values/drawables.xml.
In that change

to

Quote:

<item type="drawable" name="shade_bgcolor">#00000000</item>

Smali Edits

5.Find smali/com/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarService.smali

5.Open it with Notepad++.
Find and change

Quote:

const/4 v6, 0x2
iput v6, p0, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarService;->mPixelFormat:I

to

Quote:

 const/4 v6, -0x3
iput v6, p0, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarService;->mPixelFormat:I

Then find and change

Quote:

invoke-virtual {v0}, Landroid/graphics/drawable/Drawable;->getOpacity()I
move-result v6
iput v6, p0, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarService;->mPixelFormat:I

to

Quote:

invoke-virtual {v0}, Landroid/graphics/drawable/Drawable;->getOpacity()I
move-result v6
const/4 v6, -0x3
iput v6, p0, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarService;->mPixelFormat:I
